Andrew Courier – Has an active security clearance with years of leadership experience managing commercial and Department of Defense organizations. Started career working with stakeholders and customers to develop innovative process machine automation and product development. Specialized in project management by utilizing years of experience managing a wide variety of projects, ranging from commercial design and development projects to internal research and development projects to large ACAT1 (Acquisition Category) Department of Defense programs. He has successfully managed hardware and software projects using classic waterfall and Agile project lifecycle models. Has created a Program Management Office and developed processes and procedures that led to Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) Level 3 assessment.
As an organizational leader he created and grew organizations that met revenue and profit expectations. Doing this work provided insight and experience on how to develop strategic roadmaps and opportunity capture plans. Successfully worked on small ideation proposals to large multi volume proposals utilizing the Shipley Process to manage proposal. Maintaining profitability required developing Resource Management processes to ensure the matrixed organization had the right type and number of resources to fulfill the work. As an organizational leader he was also required to make sure that they had a culture that not only delivered a quality product on time on budget but always worked to improve. He achieved this by creating meaningful improvement plans created from Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and the projects lessons learned log and later evaluated against organizational Key Performance Indices (KPIs) ensuring that the improvement plans were effective.
